Had the good fortune of going along to the new single launch of Canberra alt-rockers Spinning Plates at Dissent, catching them play a ripper headline act supported by Machine on a Break, Spinning Cupids and Irukandji! Used this as fertile training ground for putting my Halo filter through its paces in a gig setting and was immensely satisfied with the results - the only challenge now is not using it for everything!
