My partner and I had the enormous good fortune of visiting a dear friend who had moved back to Bhutan in late 2024 and had an unbelievably wonderful time doing so! Bhutan remains one of the most remote and mysterious travel destinations left, only allowing a strict amount of visitors each year and steadfastly refusing the foreign investment and exploitation that has affected so many other countries. It was a stunningly beautiful country with even more beautiful people and I truly cannot wait to return.
